self portrait vs portrait

A selfie is a photo that you take of yourself at arms length, usually with a phone. Self-portraits are photos taken of another person and are usually more formal. There is a difference between the two. They are taken at different lengths and angles. The composition and rules are different, but the purpose is still the same. I prefer self portraits to selfies. I think self portraits look better and have a better quality. Selfies are not as high quality and formal. I think that selfies and self portraits are good for different things If you want a more thought out photo, then you should take a self portrait. If you are trying to capture a quick moment in time, a selfie would be better. Selfies are more commonly used in social media. Self portraits have more of a practical use for applications and school photos. I don't think either photo is more important than the other, they just are used for  different things. phobia project

1.  A phobia is an intense fear of a situation or object that causes the person effected to go to extreme lengths to avoid it. 2. arachnephobia- the fear of spiders chromophobia- the fear of colors hydrophobia- the fear of water ombrophobia- the fear of rain or being rained on  noctiphobia- the fear of the night 3. For my fist idea, I was to do the fear of water. I can fill up a bathtub and have my subject dunk their head underwater. This way I can have an action shot and have the water moving. I think the lighting should be dark except right above the subject so it can emphasize the look of drowning.  For my second idea, I want to do something with the fear of strings. I think it is it kinda unique and will be different from everyone else's. I want to stretch string from opposite wall in all different colors. I think the subject will be crawling through the string with a scared expression. The lighting will be bright to show off the colors of the string.  For my thi

I think this photo captures a lot of emotion. The rubble from the earthquake is sad, but the sky in the background gives it a more hopeful mood. I think the lone man walking in the middle is just what this photo needed to be powerful. This was one of the few happy photos on the website. In the presidential campaign, there was a focus on negativity and it was in the media everyday, but this photo shows a different side of what the media portrayed. This photo really caught my eye because the vibrant color stood out against all of the others. Urmia lake was almost completely dried up before the rains. I really liked he texture of the water with the contrast of the mountains. 1. Love On The Brain- Rihanna This was my favorite song because I really liked this song and it was stuck in my head for so long. I have listened to Rihanna for a long time, so when she came out with a new album, I listened to all of the songs. I liked how much slower and different this song was from most
