photo manipulation and ethics

1. People have been changing images since the start of the camera. This raises the question of how far can you go before can you change the image too much. Photographers have the choice of where the line needs to be drawn before a photo is just art.

2. The newspapers have a very strict guidelines for editing photos. No colors can be altered and photo proofs have to be turned in before the final copy is printed.

3. I think cosmetic changes are the only acceptable changes to a photo. Although I think that the truly good photos don't need to be touched upped and changed, trying to make a photo more aesthetically pleasing is okay.

I think this is the most unethical photo. The actual photo is only made darker, but i think the meaning is deeper than that. The person that edited this photo made it change peoples opinion of him. They actually made him appear scary and guilty.

I think this is most ethical of photoshop. You can still recognize that it is Kim Kardashian, but she just looks thinner and her thighs have been made smaller.

student of the month story

who- Jessica Smith what- She was selected as the Student of the Month. when- April 13, 2017 why- Jessica was chosen to be the student of the month because she is a leader at school. She makes satisfactory grades in all of her classes and participates in many school clubs and sports. Outside of school, she volunteers and makes the community a better place. how- She was recommended by her teachers and the recommendation is sent to the school administrators.      Imagine waking up tomorrow and not having honey to spread on your toast.
