free shoot






I will be shooting this weekend during the day when the sun is out. My model is going to be my friend, Ashley. I will have to shoot at her pool and bring swimsuits, sunglasses, hats and sunblock.

I am going to shoot during class. My model will be mr. wagoner. I will have to bring a sombrero from home to make the shoot work.

1. I passed over this image at first glance, but then going backed over it I was surprised to find a man in the center of the fire. This photo was taken in 1963 by photographer, Malcolm Browne. He was assigned to photograph the Buddhist protests of President Ngo Dinh. I learned that Browne began to rapidly take photos after he realized what was happening to help deal with the horror of what was happening. The photo below is another one of Brownes sad photos. Malcolm Browne was born on April 17, 1931 in New York, NY and died on August 27, 2012. He attended Swarthmore College. 2. This was the first photo my eyes went to when I opened the website. I was attracted to the beautiful color and how the milk looked frozen in mid air. This photo was taken in a lab at MIT (my sister goes there!) by Professor Harold Edgerton. sports portfolio evaluation

Entries: 1. Sam Adams 2. sports (BMX) 3. the shots have the back of someones head, the background is interrupted by an irrelevant object, not enough movement 4. his silhouettes, the facial expressions 5. I liked the portfolio, I think it was very diverse in subject matter and the photos were shot with the appropriate shutter speed. The only thing that bothered me was that some of his photos were shot too wide and ruined what could have been a good action shot. 1. Carlos Delgado 2. picture story, sports 3. cluttered background, the color is off due to over editing, he doesn't avoid mergers 4 some photos are focused well, tells the story of the paralyzed lady well (good content) 5. I was really bothered by the backgrounds of most of his photos, he didn't really take any consideration when choosing his shots.
