abandoned theme parks
1. The abandoned theme park that I would like to go to is Six Flags in New Orleans. Out of all the abandoned theme parks, I think this one had the best photos. I love the theme of the carnival with all the statues of creepy faces. This theme park had the most character and the abandoned merry go round looked very cool.

3. abandoned water park/ pool
abandoned school
temple ruins
rocky mountains, colorado
Nagasaki, Japan (shadows)
4. Over the years, many photographers have documented the aftermath of the bombing in Nagasaki, Japan. Yosuke Yamahata was one of the first photographers to record the devastation, taking his photos only one day after the bombings.
5. I think it would be fun (and sad) to photograph there. I think the history and significance of that place is important and interesting. I am especially interesting in the shadows that still are scorched in building in Japan today. They are black outlines of the people incinerated by the bomb. I find it amazing that they are still here, so many years later as a reminder of what the Japanese are still haunted by today.
6. I would need to get a tripod and definitely a better lens to go and take those photos. A fight to Japan would be expensive as well as hotel and food cost. Since it is a historical sight, there might be laws prohibiting flash.
